Johnnie Bachusky

Johnnie Bachusky has been an Alberta journalist since 1984. Over the past six and half years he has toured hundreds of ghost towns across Western Canada and written dozens of ghost town articles and heritage related pieces for newspapers and magazines in Canada.

His heritage photography has been featured in national and international publications. He has consulted for television documentaries. As well, he is co-creator of two acclaimed ghost town web sites about Alberta and Saskatchewan.

He is currently in production with an upcoming web site on ghost towns of British Columbia and another on historic wooden grain elevators. He lives with his wife Darlis and daughter Darlana in Red Deer, Alberta.
